History
In 1995, National Superhero Day was founded by Marvel Comics. Every year since its birth on April 28, 1995, people gather on this day to celebrate all their favored heroes. It doesn’t matter if your chosen heroes are fictional or real, this is the day to be grateful for them.
Just to remind you, Marvel Comics, created many superheroes such as Spiderman, Ironman, Thor, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and many other fan favorites. Marvel comics also created “The Avengers,” “The Fantastic Four,” and “X-Men.” Of course, Marvel superheroes aren’t the only ones out there. For example, DC Comics created Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc. On April 28, those superheroes are equally celebrated.
The first superhero ever was created in 1936. His name was Phantom and he started with his own comic strip in the United States newspaper. Phantom was the first known beginning of a published superhero. Nowadays, there are hundreds of famous heroes that everyone adores.
